Myths TV Series “Mr. Wu Chengen and the Masterpiece ‘Journey to the West’” represents Wu Chengen’s complex of characterization in ‘Journey to the West’ and his unique views of life. The hero Wu Chengen is charming and versatile, the characters in ‘Journey to the West’, Monkey-King, Zhu Ba-jie, Tangseng , both of them reflects each other and present an outstanding myth series with high-tech production and phenomenal imagination.

In the early 1520’s, (Ming Dynasty of China), Wu Chengen and his father, Wu Yue, who has been demoted to the beadle of Shanyang County, huanan, Jiangsu Province, paid a visit to a monk, Puyin, in Yuntai Temple, Huaguoshan Mountain. Wu Yue hoped that his son could take the examinations and be the honor of the family. However, blessed with a gift, Wu Chengen are obsessed with the monkeys in Huaguoshan Mountain, imaged that he can be free and omnipotent just like those monkeys.
